Please join us in welcoming our new Orthotist, Marvin Caraccioli. He comes to us after serving four years as an orthotic technician in the US Air Force, and almost 20 years as a clinical orthotist in private practice. Marvin is available for orthotic consultations, and is ready to help you attain the best possible outcomes when bracing is indicated.

We are a full service Orthotic and Prosthetic Company serving South Central Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland. As a provider of Prosthetics (artificial limbs) and Orthotics (orthopedic braces) our mission is to do whatever is necessary to optimize your level of comfort and activity so you can continue to enjoy your life.

As you know, a prosthesis or orthosis plays a significant role in your life...and in your lifestyle. Selecting the right company to care for your specific needs and right practitioner(Prosthetist or Orthotist) --is a very important choice, whether you are just starting your rehabilitation or are an experienced prosthetic or orthotic user.

At "The Center" you will develop a personal relationship with your Certified Prosthetist or Orthotist. We will take time to discuss your concerns and ongoing needs. We are attuned to the demands that your job or lifestyle place on your prosthesis or orthosis. We understand the importance of listening to you, learning from you, and assisting you towards your individual goals. Our staff functions as a part of your rehabilitation team, and will work closely with your physician and therapist to optimize your rehabilitation. Once you have completed your rehab, we will continue to provide follow-up service to keep you comfortable and functioning at your best.

"The Center" has no restrictions on the choice of design or component parts, unlike some large companies and corporate chains. We use the latest technologies in the design and fabrication of your prosthesis or orthotic device, enabling you to optimize your functional outcome and achieve your personal goals.

We offer the "The Center Ring" computerized three dimensional Shape Capture System (CAD, or Computer Aided Design) which allows us to quickly and accurately create a model of your residual limb.

As a client of "The Center" you will receive the personal attention you deserve from qualified, experienced practitioners. Our practitioners are continually upgrading their knowledge and skills through professional courses and seminars so that we may provide you with the ongoing care and service that you will need. There is never a charge for a consultation with "The Center".

"The Center" has five convenient full service offices throughout south central Pennsylvania located in Lancaster, Mechanicsburg,  Hanover, Harrisburg and York. Office hours are 8:00AM to 4:30PM, Monday through Friday, with weekend and evening appointments available by special arrangement. Appointments may also be scheduled at hospitals, nursing homes, and rehabilitation centers to accommodate clients at these facilities. Home visits may also be made for individuals who are homebound.
