"The Center" Adds Women's Boutique

A new service to provide women with specialty products after breast surgery has been added at "The Center" on West James Street in Lancaster. The Women's Health Boutique was formerly located at the Women's and Babies Hospital at the Lancaster General Health Campus and provides unique products for women who have undergone breast surgery, mastectomy, lumpectomy, implant removal, breast augmentation or reduction, as well as edema of the arm or leg. Men, too, can experience edema or swelling of a limb, after surgery, varicose veins, radiation, or chemotherapy, and therapeutic compression garments are also available for them.

Ann Marie Campbell is the Certified Fitter for the Women's Health Boutique, and will continue helping women solve their challenging post-breast-surgery problems at the Boutique's new location at 315 West James Street. "Ann Marie is a treasure to the many women she has served, and we are happy to welcome her to our staff," said Phil Meyers, president of "The Center". "Her clients truly appreciate the professional, comfortable, and private atmosphere she creates for them."

The Women's Health Boutique offers attractive mastectomy bras and swim wear, breast forms, compression garments, skin care products, maternity supports, scarves, and other tasteful items.

"By keeping our company focused locally," says Phil Meyers, "we find we can concentrate on more personalized patient care. We are also investing in the local economy by maintaining our own on-site fabrication labs to service our six patient care offices in the mid-state. Creating jobs and reinvesting in our communities is an important part of "The Center's" mission. We feel blessed by the opportunity to use our unique training to have such a positive effect on the lives of our clients."
